The Open Door Mission We serve people at their point of need, cultivating personal growth & community sustainability.

Through sharing nourishment for both the body and the soul, The Open Door aims to be a safe haven for those caught in the storms of life. The Open Door has proven to be successful at bringing people in for food and fellowship, as well as working with already established organizations to create and develop innovative approaches to care for the needs of the hurting in our community. Through a carefully created network of organizations and individuals, The Open Door has been able to not only touch the lives of those who come to our doors, but many more who would not be able to come to us. Throughout its 30 years of existence, The Open Door has remained true to its original statement of purpose to care for the hurting in the community, and continues to be a driving force in the region.
