Did You Know?
The Glens Falls Police Department utilizes our Bicycle Patrol Unit to patrol local bike paths and other areas that may be difficult to access with traditional patrol vehicles. Our bicycle officers are also deployed at special events throughout the City, allowing for increased mobility, enhanced community engagement, and a more visible police presence.

If you see us on patrol feel free to stop us and say hi!

The deer are bounding through the woods, the honeybees are buzzing in our observation hive, the frogs are hopping around the pond and our grounds are busy with lots of school children enjoying a program with their classes as they wrap up the school year.

The Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District is pleased to announce a program designed to support our native pollinators. This year, our goal is to convert one acre of turfgrass in the County into pollinator plots. Pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem by enhancing the productivity of gardens, fruit trees, and native plants.
If you have a section of your lawn that you'd like to transform into a pollinator habitat, please scan the QR code below! We are seeking volunteers to convert 100 to 500 square feet of lawn for 5 years, and we will provide the seeds at no cost. This is a great opportunity to help improve pollinator habitats while also spending less time mowing this summer!
