🚗 Red, White & Boom Bash Traffic Plan 🚗
As we prepare for Glenpool’s Red, White & Boom Bash on Saturday, June 27 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at 1122 E. 156th Street South, we wanted to share the traffic plan that will be in place to help keep everyone moving safely and efficiently.
Event traffic can utilize Broadway to travel between 151st Street and 156th Street. To accommodate event traffic, Broadway will be SOUTHBOUND only until 10:00 p.m. At the conclusion of the event, Broadway will transition to NORTHBOUND only traffic to help attendees exit the area quickly and safely.
Historically, we have not experienced significant traffic issues upon arrival, as attendees tend to arrive gradually throughout the evening rather than all at once.
At the conclusion of the event, officers will be stationed at the intersections of 156th Street & Highway 75 and 151st Street & Broadway. Barricades will be used to restrict one lane, and traffic exiting the event will be directed to make right turns only onto the highways to help minimize congestion and improve traffic flow.
