Please let your water run for a few minutes before using it in case there is any sediment in the lines.

Attention residents: Tonight council meeting is canceled do to not having a quorum. With this being said we do have two empty council seats. If you are interested in being on council come to the next meeting September 10th at 6 o'clock in the council room.

The Glenmont Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and members of the Rittman Police Department following the tragic line-of-duty death of Sgt. Scott Ries.
The loss of a dedicated law enforcement officer is felt by every member of the policing profession and the communities we proudly serve. During this incredibly difficult time, we stand in solidarity with Sgt. Ries’s loved ones, his brothers and sisters in blue, and the entire Rittman community as they mourn this heartbreaking loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with the two officers and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office K-9 who were injured during this incident. We wish each of them strength, healing, and a full recovery.
May Sgt. Ries’s service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting others never be forgotten

Just a reminder that this Saturday is community Yard sales.

We have been asked by several individuals about a community yard sale, so we are pleased to announce it will take place on Saturday June 27th.

🚰 Attention Village of Glenmont Water Customers 🚰

We currently have several water accounts that are one quarter past due and a few accounts that are two quarters past due.

This is a reminder that the current quarter’s water bills will be issued at the end of June and will be due July 25, 2026.

Please remember that if your account becomes more than two quarters past due, you will receive a shut-off notice and may be subject to service interruption if the balance is not brought current.

We encourage everyone to check on their account status and take care of any outstanding balances as soon as possible. Please also help spread the word by reminding your neighbors and friends within the village to stay current on their water bills.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep the Village water system operating smoothly.
