🏆 BRINGING HOME THE BELT! 🏆

Chief Mark Kraft of the Sidney Police Department invited members of our agency to participate in SPD’s Sunrise Shoot, and Captain Logan Dutton didn’t just show up - he put in the work and brought home 1st place! 🥇

The event brought together law enforcement officers from several agencies for a great day of competition, camaraderie, and challenging courses of fire.

We’re proud to have Captain Dutton representing the Glendive Police Department and even prouder to see him bring the championship belt back to Glendive!

A big thank you to Chief Kraft, the Sidney Police Department, and everyone who helped put on a great event.

Congratulations, Captain Dutton! Well earned! 👏

25 years.

The smoke. The fear. The loss. The courage.
A day that changed America forever.

But when America is shaken, Americans do what they do best. We stand together. We unite. We rise.

September 11, 2001.

We remember.

We will never forget.

The Glendive Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to the Helena Police Department and the City of Helena for helping transfer one of Helena’s used patrol vehicles to our department.

The vehicle has already served the Helena community, but it remains capable of continuing its public-service life as a patrol vehicle in Glendive. This allows an existing public resource to remain in service while helping address an important need within our fleet.

This partnership grew from relationships formed at law enforcement trainings, where Chief Katie Mills and Assistant Chief Joshua Jonas connected with Helena Police Chief Brett Petty and Assistant Chief Jayson Zanders. After learning of our department’s vehicle needs, Helena Police and the City of Helena worked together to make this transfer possible.

Montana has a unique bond. Whether on the eastern or western side of the state, our communities and public-safety agencies understand the importance of supporting one another. We are grateful to Chief Petty, Assistant Chief Zanders, the Helena Police Department, and the City of Helena for extending that support to Glendive.
