Dia de los Mu***os or Day of the Dead is the Mexican celebration of All Souls Day, family and friends gather to remember loved ones that have passed away. This celebration is supposed to be fun in remembrance and to honor those no longer with us, remembering the good times shared with their loved ones. Traditions include caring for the graves of family members, building elaborate altars to loved o

nes who have passed on and celebrating the dead with processions, dances and music. Calaveras or skulls show up in masks, costumes, paper maché puppets, and candy, including sugar skulls that children decorate for the day. This two day family festival held (October 31st and November 1st) will provide consumers with live entertainment including traditional musical performers, local bands, ballet folklorico, food, family activities such as a health & wellness center and much more. An estimated 3,500 people will be in attendance to enjoy this FREE event!
