Yesterday, we had the honor of standing alongside the Hometown Christmas Parade committee and Mayor Jerry Weiers - Glendale, AZ as they presented a $40,000 gift to support our Hope for Hunger Food Bank 🎉

Through the Hometown Christmas Parade Holiday Food Drive, we also collected 12,260 pounds of non-perishable food items. Together, these contributions will strengthen the work of Phoenix Rescue Mission, helping us provide food, essential resources, and hope to families across the Valley.

We are sincerely grateful for this partnership and for every volunteer and participant who made this impact possible. Together, we are ensuring our neighbors are met with dignity and care. 🙏

Hope for Hunger will be closed on:
Wednesday, December 24 – Christmas Eve
Thursday, December 25 – Christmas Day

What a great time at the Hometown Christmas Parade in Downtown Glendale this past Saturday! 🎄

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and support. Because of this event and the generosity of the community, proceeds are helping provide meals through our Hope for Hunger Food Bank, serving neighbors across the Valley.

We are especially grateful to the event committee for their partnership and leadership in making this event such a success, along with everyone who helped bring the parade to life.

As we prepare for Christmas, we are grateful for moments that remind us of the true meaning of the season and the love, generosity, and hope we are called to share with others. ❤️

The Hometown Christmas Parade is almost here! Join us this Saturday at 11:00 AM in Downtown Glendale as we spread holiday cheer at this community event that brings people together to make a difference 🎄

Can’t make it? You can still support local families by donating canned goods at one of the parade’s designated Drop Zone locations. All proceeds benefit our Hope for Hunger Food Bank, helping provide food and care to neighbors in need this season.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve already received many turkey donations and we’re getting closer to our 1,000-turkey goal! 🙌
