We are proud to announce the following promotions within the command staff of your Glendale Fire Department:
Charles Solomon has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief and will operate as C4502. Assistant Chief Solomon comes from a long line of firefighters and brings over 15 years of experience to the role. Throughout his career in Hamilton County, he has served in the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, and Fire Chief.
Carter Pittman joins us with 30 years of fire and EMS experience and will assume the rank of Assistant Chief, operating as C4503. Assistant Chief Pittman has served several local departments in various capacities and most recently held the position of Assistant Fire Chief for the past eight years. He is a respected leader and mentor, and we are grateful to have him as part of our team.
Dane Fienning has been promoted to Division Chief of EMS and Community Risk Management. With nearly 20 years of fire and EMS experience, Chief Fienning will lead EMS training efforts and provide hands-on, real-world guidance to help prepare our EMTs for the field. He will also oversee community risk reduction initiatives to better protect our residents, visitors, and businesses.
Kyle Schwable has been promoted to Division Chief of Logistics. Chief Schwable will oversee our vehicle fleet, equipment, and supplies. He brings nearly 20 years of experience, having served departments in Central Ohio, the Carolinas, and throughout Northern KY and Hamilton County.
Please join us in congratulating these individuals on their well-earned accomplishments. They will be officially sworn in on Monday, May 4th at 7:00 PM at Glendale Town Hall. Family, friends, and colleagues are welcome to attend.
