JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
The Utility Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor for the repair, construction, and maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater collection system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Performs manual labor work, to include installation of pipes and fittings, for the repair, construction, and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• Excavates and backfills trenches in order to complete repairs.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Stocks vehicles with necessary equipment and material.
• Cleans, organizes and maintains facilities, tools and equipment.
• Observes and promotes all established safety procedures.
• May assist with the set-up of work zone barricades and signs for traffic control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

DECISION MAKING
• This position receives immediate supervision.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Position specific physical testing.

• Knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment typically used in maintenance or construction.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety measures as they apply to the type of work being performed.

Position: Quality Assurance Assistant
Supervisor: Quality Assurance Manager
Back-up (if applicable): Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary:
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager as directed.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct plant Audits
• Audit food safety, defense, quality and SQF documentation
• Monitor and verify all sanitation records.
• All staff must report any known food safety issues to supervisor.
• All staff has the authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc. food safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow up and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and team interaction skills
• Trained in food safety and quality, including certifications in HACCP and SQF
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be able to work with a team and manage other personnel.
• Preferred knowledge of food safety programs and quality control programs.
• Preferred education in food safety programs and FDA requirements.
• Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements.
Abilities Required:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.
