Meet Manuk Manukyan from the border community of Paruyr Sevak and one of the beneficiaries supported through the Sahman family business program.

Manuk is engaged in fruit production and export. As part of the program, he received a large refrigerated storage unit, allowing him to safely store fresh produce and better manage the export process.

The facility also serves other fruit exporters from the village, creating an opportunity for local producers to use shared infrastructure and strengthen their businesses together.

This kind of support goes beyond one business—it contributes to the development of the wider local economy and creates new opportunities for the community. 🇦🇲

Meet Arkadi Gevorgyan, one of the beneficiaries of the Sahman NGO’s family business support program from the village of Tigranashen.

Arkadi is engaged in chick production, and as part of the program, he received an incubator to support and expand his work.

The new equipment allows him to improve the production process and increase his capacity, helping him develop his business and create a more sustainable source of income in his community.

Supporting local entrepreneurs means creating opportunities for people to build, grow, and contribute to the development of their communities. 🇦🇲

Meet Hovhannes Fahradyan, one of the beneficiaries of the Sahman NGO family business support program.

Hovhannes is engaged in dried fruit production, turning locally grown fruits into high-quality dried products. As part of the program, he received a fruit pitting machine, providing him with the equipment needed to improve and streamline the production process.

Support like this helps local entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses, increase their production capacity, and continue developing their work in their communities. 🇦🇲

From July 23 to 26, the Armenian University’s Armenian Camp: Summer School 2026 took place on the shores of Lake Sevan, bringing together graduates from different cohorts of the University, as well as members and friends of the Armenian Project.

The program combined educational sessions, discussions, and team-based activities. The opening lecture was delivered by political scientist and co-founder of the Armenian Project, Edgar Elbakyan, who introduced this year’s central theme and launched the “Breakthrough” team game, designed to develop initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

The camp also welcomed special guest Shahe Ajemyan, a repatriated Armenian fighter and former chief of staff of the “Crusaders” detachment, who shared his personal journey and experiences with the participants.

For us, the “Armenian Camp” is more than a summer gathering. It is a space for strengthening the Armenian University community, creating meaningful connections between generations, and encouraging dialogue, initiative, and a shared sense of responsibility for Armenia’s future. 🇦🇲
