BCDI-Wisconsin is seeking two part-time Parent Engagement Outreach Coordinators—one serving Milwaukee and one serving Racine!

Current college students and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply! We welcome relevant experience gained through professional roles, internships, volunteer service, student leadership, or community-based work.

Help connect families with resources, build community partnerships, and strengthen parent engagement through our Healthy Start for Growing Families program.

There is something truly special about watching a child light up as they choose a book that's theirs to keep.

Thank you to every family who joined us for the BCDI-WI’s 9th Annual Brunch of Books. Your smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the room and reminded us why this event continues to be so meaningful year after year.

We're grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters whose generosity helped provide books, backpacks, lunch, and a morning centered on literacy, learning, and family.

A special thank you to our emcee, Stephanie Crosley, for bringing warmth and joy to the celebration, and to our special guest, Jerry Jordan, for inspiring our young readers through storytelling and illustration.

As you browse through these photos, we hope you see more than an event. We hope you see children discovering new stories, families creating memories together, and a community investing in the limitless potential of every child.
