The Peoria Unified social media accounts are provided as a service for the district's parents, students, staff, community members and other stakeholders. The Communications and Public Relations Department maintains and updates this page to share student and staff achievements, upcoming events,
emergency information and other timely news. Page administrators reserve the right to hide or remove any comments (especially those deemed inappropriate or malicious) at any time, for any reason. This is to protect the rights and privacy of Peoria Unified students and staff. What comments will be hidden or removed? We will hide or remove comments that:
- Break the law or encourage others to do so.
- Contain abusive or inappropriate language or statements.
- Identify students and/or staff in defamatory, abusive or negative terms.
- Disregard or disrespect another's privacy or may offend or provoke others.
- Contains false information.
- Are spam (i.e. repeatedly posting the same comments that advertise or promote a service or product). If inappropriate comments continue, we reserve the right to remove the user as a fan of our page or block the user. We encourage participation on our page. We ask that you exercise civility and good will in your communication. When posting to Peoria Unified’s social media pages on the internet, please keep in mind that your name and photo or image appear next to your comments and are publicly visible to the thousands of visitors to the page. Please be aware that your comments and posts are public and may be used by anyone, including news media for stories and other content. Peoria Unified does not endorse any information posted by users and are not liable for misinformation or other conduct that violates page guidelines.
