International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember those who have lost their lives, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.

Bergen County stands with all those impacted by overdose and reaffirms our commitment to prevention, education, and support. A free Mental Health First Aid class is being offered in Ridgewood. This class will provide great information about identifying, understanding and responding to a range of mental health and substance abuse issues. See the flyer below for more information.

Join Parks and Recreation and the Health Department for Mental Health and First Aid Training. Learn the skills to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges among adults and youth with a free, 8-hour training on April 28th fron 8:30am to 4:00pm at Village Hall, 131 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood. Space is limited to 30 adults. Please register by calling 201-670-5500, ext. 2312 or by emailing to [email protected]
