Saturday, members of the Concordville Fire Company participated in the Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Softball Tournament. A fun time was had by all for a great cause.

Last week two of our members, alongside other first responders, were recipients of the Main Line Chamber Foundation Scholarship Award. Congratulations to Joe and Justin of Concordville Fire Co. and all recipients.

Thursday June 4th, we had the honor of driving the winners of the auction for the Home and School Assn to Concord Elementary School.
We picked up the children at their bus stop and transported them in Engine 59-2 to school.

Last Thursday Concordville Fire Company had a visit from Girl Scout Troop 561. They toured the Station and Apparatus, and we talked about fire safety. Before leaving they left us with some Girl Scout cookies. Thank you!

Yesterday, Concordville Fire Co. participated in the Garnet Valley Middle School 8th grade egg drop project. The students were tasked to minimize the landing force of their eggs by designing and developing a container to prevent the egg from breaking when dropped from 45 feet. Congratulations to all the students for coming up with some amazing ideas.

Yesterday the Concordville Fire Company along with the Bethel Twp. Hose Co. Participated in the American Legion Post 811 Memorial Day Observances. Honoring the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Today Concordville Fire Co. participated in the Garnet Valley High School Mock Crash. For those who are not familiar with the Mock Crash this is a Pre Prom event to remind students to make smart decisions.
The Scenario is:
Two car crash involving a driver under the influence. There will be one fatality, and a few injured. Concordville Fire & EMS, Chester Heights Fire Co.., Bethel Twp. Hose Co. #1., and Main Line Health EMS. provided extrication and patient care. Pennsylvania PA State Police managed the impaired driver and parents arriving on scene. The Funeral director managed the deceased victim. We try to make this realistic as possible for the students. This event also includes student actors and volunteer actors.
Cars provided by Concord Towing. Many others help make this event a success. This was all narrated by Main Line Health.
