Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center™ was honored to attend the Women Who Heal Communities event hosted by Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network in partnership with the Gift of Hope Community Foundation and Inside Edge Consulting Group.

This beautiful event brought together incredible women leaders, healthcare advocates, wellness professionals, educators, nonprofit organizations, and community changemakers who are all working to uplift and strengthen our communities through healing, education, wellness, and service.

We had an amazing time networking, learning, sharing resources, and connecting with so many inspiring individuals who are making a difference across Chicago and beyond. Events like this remind us how important collaboration and community partnerships are in creating healthier and more supportive spaces for families, caregivers, and older adults.

At Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center™, we remain committed to staying active in the community, building meaningful partnerships, and continuing to learn from organizations and leaders who are passionate about wellness, advocacy, and care.

💲 Vendor Fee: $50

At Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center™, we are encouraged to see more conversations happening around caregiving, mental health, daycare services, and support for families across our communities. 💜
As we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we also recognize the emotional, physical, and financial challenges many caregivers face every single day — especially those caring for loved ones living with dementia or cognitive decline.

Adult day services are more than supervision. They provide:

One thing I have learned on this journey with Teresa’s Place Adult Daycare Center™ is the importance of building meaningful community connections 💜

I truly enjoyed attending the Women in Business networking event hosted by the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce at Arden Courts Memory Care.

The workshop, “Networking Like a Pro: Building Meaningful Connections That Create Opportunities,” was such a valuable reminder that collaboration, relationships, and community partnerships are essential when working to make a difference.

As Teresa’s Place™ continues to grow, I am grateful for every opportunity to connect with organizations, leaders, healthcare professionals, and community members who share a passion for supporting seniors, caregivers, wellness, and community outreach.
