Today we had the honor of welcoming Illinois State Superintendent Dr. Tony Sanders, State Representative Margaret Delarosa, Director of State Legislative Relations Hector Rodriguez, and Chief Governmental Relations Officer Cynthia Lund. Our guests visited the Kindergarten Center and Hadley Junior High to experience our schools and connect with students and staff. We are grateful they chose to spend time with us! It is a reminder that there is greatness happening at D41 when others want to visit, learn from our staff, and see our students in action.

The Board of Education and Superintendent McHugh will bring the community together to discuss the book "The Digital Delusion" by educator and neuroscientist Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, October 5, 6:30 p.m. at Hadley Junior High, 240 Hawthorne Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
