New cardholders receive a coupon for 10% off at The Cafe, an entry into that week's prize drawing for new cardholders, and an entry into a Grand Prize Drawing to be announced on October 5. Most people who live, work, or go to school in Glen Ellyn can get a library card. Call or visit the library to find out if you're eligible!

Apply for a library card at the library or online at gepl.org/get-a-library-card. Sign up online in English, Spanish, or Polish.

Win a Seed Starting Gift Basket by saving seeds for the Seed Library!
Bring saved seeds to the Adult Desk from September 1–October 31 and fill out a slip to be entered into the drawing.

Please donate only open-pollinated and heirloom seeds. Accepted seeds consist of vegetables, fruits, flowers, grasses, and other locally-grown plants. While we will accept store bought seeds, you must donate your own saved seeds in order to be entered into the drawing.
