The Highway Department appreciates the support of those who voted in favor of the referendum. Regrettably, it did not receive sufficient votes to pass. We recognize that it can be challenging to justify allocating additional tax funds for necessary facility and worker safety enhancements. Hopefully, we can provide more information and garner your support to improve conditions for our personnel and equipment.

In light of the adverse weather, please be advised that parking ordinances prohibiting overnight parking will remain in effect until April 15. The presence of parked cars on roadways significantly impedes the efficiency of snowplow operations. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
