⚠️Clara Barton Parkway Lane Closure ⚠️

Temporary Closure of the Clara Barton Parkway Right Lane at Site 17, wooded areas between C&O Canal and Lock 10 parking lot, north to Lock 14, required to address ongoing safety concerns from DC Water emergency sanitary sewer overflow & bypass and pipe repair operations.

⚠️ Winter Weather Update- Friday, February 13 ⚠️

❄ Its been over 20 days since the snowstorm and our amazing team is still working hard to clear off the icy snow from our many sites along the Parkway! We are excited to announce that the parking lot and bridge at Theodore Roosevelt Island is now open! Trails are still snowy so please use caution if you decide to explore! ❄

❄ Our crews are still hard at work clearing off the many Parkway sites! Here is a joyful moment captured after being able to cross an item off the long list of places that still need plowed! Wahoo! Way to go TEAM GWMP! ❄

We are excited to announce that our popular Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial, will be open tomorrow at its normal time! But please remember there are still icy conditions and many trails are still snow/ice covered! ❄
