Today a little before 5 PM We received a call about a missing kayaker. Deputy Cheif Graziosi and Lieutenant Lawrence Demmler were immediately notified and responded out to the location within minutes. They located the kayak and a paddle against the rocks at Morgan Memorial Park. Nassau County Marine bureau, Nassau County Aviation, City Of Glen Cove Police Department and the City of Glen Cove Fire Department all responded as we were going to start conducting a search. The individual was located at the Nassau County Museum. I would to thank our Harbor Patrol officers for a job well done and to all other agencies that responded. We all come together when it’s necessary.
Thank you all

I want to thank both of them for a job well done I also like to think the Nassau County police Department aviation unit for assisting in the search The City Of Glen Cove should be thankful for all the first responders they do not hesitate to go out in any type of weather
