On May 3, 2026, at 7pm, The City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department had the privilege of hosting the 87th Nassau County United Memorial Service in Parish Hall at St. Patrick’s Church in Glen Cove, New York. The Nassau County United Memorial Service honors those members of the fire service family that have died in the preceding calendar year.

On April 14th, 2026, three members of the City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department recieved awards from the Nassau County Fire Commission for their quick actions and bravery during a fire in an apartment building at 3am on April 17, 2025.

The Individual recipients honored:

The Chiefs of the City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank our Department Membership for the excellent turnout for the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In addition, we thank those members who participated in the St. Baldrick's Foundation event by shaving their heads to raise funds for childhood cancer. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all.
