In observance of Independence Day, Deep Roots Farmers Market will be closed on Saturday, July 4th.

We will resume next Saturday, July 11th, at Village Square in Glen Cove.

From all of us at Deep Roots, along with our many dedicated vendors, we wish you and your family a happy and safe Independence Day.

Thank you to everyone who has visited the market this year. Your patronage means a great deal to us and to the hardworking vendors who help make Deep Roots Farmers Market such a special part of our community.

🚨 COOLING CENTER ALERT – THURSDAY, JULY 2 🚨

Due to the extreme heat, the City of Glen Cove will open a Cooling Center for residents in need of relief.

📍 Glen Cove Senior Center
130 Glen Street
🕘 Open Thursday, July 2 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Residents are encouraged to stay indoors when possible, stay hydrated, and check on elderly neighbors, family members, and pets during this dangerous heat.

Please take precautions and stay safe. Extreme heat can be dangerous for seniors, young children, those with medical conditions, and animals.
