🎾 The Glen Cove Tennis Team finished the season as Conference Champs. After starting the season 3-0, Glen Cove had a tough loss to Locust Valley, 4-3. With this loss, the team knew the only way to win a Conference Championship was to win nine straight matches. After that loss, Glen Cove was able to win six straight matches, improving to 10-1 as a team. This led to a rematch with Locust Valley (11-0) vs. Glen Cove (10-1) at the brand new Glen Cove Tennis Courts. Glen Cove was able to win 4-3 the second time around in another close match. The match was tied 3-3, and second singles player Ben Davlatshoev secured the victory for Glen Cove. After losing the first set 6-2, he bounced back to win 7-5, 6-1. Glen Cove closed out their final three matches, improving to 13-1. Locust Valley finished with a record of 13-1 as well. Both teams qualified for Big School/Small School Playoffs and both teams are Conference Champs. Glen Cove will be going to the #4 seed in Nassau County at Jericho High School on Tuesday for the playoffs. Thank you to our dedicated and inspiring coach, Coach MacDonald for guiding us to this success. Go Glen Cove! ❗️

This recognition signifies a remarkable achievement for both students and the Fine & Performing Arts Department at Glen Cove High School. 💫 🎭

The Roger Rees Awards, which honor outstanding high school musical theater performances in the Greater New York City Area, are highly competitive.
