Port Oneida Fair Showcases traditional crafts and skills of the late 1800s and early 1900s in historic Port Oneida the 2nd Friday and Saturday of August

The largest intact agricultural farming community in the nation in public ownership is the Port Oneida Rural Historic District in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Every 2nd Friday and Saturday in August, six of the historic sites comes alive with 100 volunteers demonstrating skills from the late 1800s. ng and much more has been teaching and entertaining families and people of all ages for over 10 years. The Fair is presented by the National Park in partnership with Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear, who co-founded the Fair. The event has become a favorite for the Park's visitors.
