Here are maps of the two main rooms for the book sale which begins this Friday! Many sub-categories will be sorted and labeled for your browsing pleasure, so if you have a specific interest, like WWII, you will be able to quickly find it within History! Each year we try to learn what improves our book sales. Plus, we are open to suggestions!

The Academy Building is truly a wonderful venue, with ample parking, wide hallways, and spacious rooms. Thank you Glastonbury Parks and Recreation and Facilities Maintenance for making this happen!

Friday's Preview Sale means early-bird shopping. 5-8, $10 admission. NO SCANNERS FROM 5-6pm.

Almost 1000 boxes of books- that is roughly 15000 books!

Academy Building, 2143 Main St (NOT the Library)
Doors A, B, or C. Handicap access at doors B and C.
Overflow parking at Town Hall's lot.

Here is an early peek at most of our categories for the book sale this coming Friday through Saturday (9/11-13) at the Academy Building, 2143 Main St, Glastonbury.

The book sale could NOT happen without these athletes. GHS Boys and Girls Soccer players moved more than 700 boxes from the library to Academy on Saturday-

This should have been a rest day for them on Labor Day weekend , but they cheerfully hoisted ALL of those boxes…
And they said, “We are happy to help.”

We are indebted! Might I add that soccer has helped every fall for 25 years!

THE BOOK SALE IS NOT AT THE LIBRARY.
It is at:
Academy Building, 2143 Main St, Glastonbury, CT
Hours- Friday, 9/11, 5-8 $10 Admission, no scanners 5-6
Sat., 9/12, 9-4 free
Sun., 9/13, 10-3 BAG SALE $10
(bag provided by the Friends)

Parking overflow is available on the Town Hall side but note:
FRIDAY NIGHT ENTRY IS ONLY AT DOORS A, B, AND C.
Friday night $10 entrance fee is cash at the door, or credit, after doors open, at CAFETERIA CASHIER ONLY. So, it's very helpful to bring cash that night!

Also please note all tap-to-pay minimums are $10.
