Just prior to midnight, Local members assigned to Ladder Company 10, Engine Company 1031 (C Platoon), as well as recalled off-duty members operated on a working fire in the Township. Companies arrived to find another working fire in the basement of a private dwelling with the residents safety evacuated. Ladder Company 10 arrived and operated as the First Due Truck, Glassboro Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 5494 Squad Company 26 arrived and operated as the First Due Engine.

This is the second working fire in Washington Township since January 1.
