We are currently seeking a new “tile manager”, the person responsible for the management of the black granite tiles with the names on them.
Duties include processing tile orders, communicating with individuals or families, liasing with the granite company, organization of tiles on the walls both digitally and physically, and updating the directory and website with photos.
The right person should have basic familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Mozilla Thunderbird email services, should possess good customer service skills, and be patient with both people and the process as a whole.
VERY important: the right person should also have incredible attention to detail, as it is a very precise job to make sure the names and other features are as accurate as possible… because they’ll literally be set in stone.
Ideally, this is a job for someone who is retired, or with a good amount of time on their hands. It isn’t really “time consuming”, but it requires someone with the ability to devote the time it needs.
Our previous coordinator worked 2 jobs and had lots of other stuff going on and he managed just fine, so if you are retired or just have some extra time on your hands, this may be a fun project for you to take on!
It can definitely be fun to the kind of person who enjoys organizing and order and that sort of thing.
Training will be provided and we have our own equipment, so no worries there!
