If you saw some of our previous posts, you know the Glasgow Volunteers partnered up with a couple local businesses to help get flood relief supplies to our local communities.

The flooding may have happened a couple weeks ago, but when you’re cleaning up and dealing with the damage, it can take weeks. You never know when you’re going to need more supplies.

Here’s a receipt from some of the purchases we made using the money that was donated. We want to be transparent and show where those donations are going.

Thank you to everyone who donated, helped collect supplies, or lent a hand. It truly means a lot to our community.

The Hackworth Fire Collection will be holding a raffle soon to help raise money for the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department Breakfast with Santa!

HFC will be putting together some of our merchandise for the raffle, and we’d also love to include items from local businesses or individuals who would like to contribute.

All proceeds from the raffle will go directly toward the Breakfast with Santa and helping make this a great event for the kids in our community.

If you’d like to donate an item or gift card to be included in the raffle, please reach out to us! There’s no obligation at all, but we’d greatly appreciate anyone who wants to help support the event.

It is extremely important to have a strong working relationship with your mutual aid departments. One thing about our department is the great relationship we have with Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.. Today, we teamed up to provide and distribute flood relief supplies to the victims in Goose Hauler around 4 p.m. This is what mutual aid and working together is all about.

The Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department, City National Bank of Glasgow, Hackworth Fire Collection LLC., and the Town of Glasgow are teaming up to collect supplies and donations for those affected by the recent local flooding.

If you would like to donate, drop-offs will be accepted at City National Bank and Glasgow Town Hall during regular business hours.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department. We will be delivering the collected supplies to those in need at a later date.

Any donation, big or small, can make a difference. Thank you for helping our neighbors!
