The roadway at Old Bowling Green Road and the Outer Loop intersection near the Exit/Entry 8 ramps of the Cumberland Parkway has been reopened to normal traffic.

⚠️ Traffic Alert – Road Closure ⚠️ A small portion of the roadway at Old Bowling Green Road and the Outer Loop intersection near the Exit/Entry 8 ramps of the Cumberland Parkway will be closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a single-vehicle accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer. One occupant was transported to TJ Health with suspected injuries. Please use caution in the area and seek an alternate route if possible while emergency personnel work on the scene. Updates will be provided as information becomes available.

Please use caution while traveling in the area of Edmonton Road and New Bowling Green Road (US 68-80). The 400 Mile Yard Sale is taking place June 4–7, and increased traffic, pedestrians, and vehicles entering and exiting roadways can be expected.

Please allow extra travel time, stay alert, and watch for shoppers and vendors along the roadway.

New Bowling Green Road in the area of Bon Ayr Road is currently affected due to a motor vehicle collision. Motorists are advised to use caution, expect delays, and seek an alternate route if possible while emergency personnel work the scene.
