The Louisville Orchestra is returning to Glasgow Town Square for another unforgettable summer evening of music as part of its In Harmony Tour. After drawing record crowds in recent years, Glasgow has become one of the tour’s most celebrated destinations, bringing together families, friends, and music lovers from across the region.

This FREE outdoor concert will feature a diverse and engaging program, blending timeless orchestral favorites with exciting and unexpected selections. The evening begins with The Star-Spangled Banner and Leonard Bernstein’s energetic Candide Overture, followed by the rich, sweeping melodies of Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. Audiences will also enjoy the dazzling virtuosity of Henri Vieuxtemps’ Souvenir d’Amérique, featuring a violin soloist.

The program continues with A Love Letter to Scotland by Anthony R. Green, a moving work commissioned by the orchestra, alongside lighter moments including a heavy-metal-inspired twist on In the Hall of the Mountain King and the comedic genius of P. D. Q. Bach’s 1712 Overture. The evening concludes with the unforgettable music of John Williams from Star Wars.

Grab a lawn chair or blanket and join us for a memorable night of music under the stars in downtown Glasgow.
