👨‍👧‍👦 Build Memories with Dad at the Gladstone Community Center!

Join us for a special Father's Day celebration filled with hands-on fun, creativity, and quality time with the important male role models in your life.

📅 Thursday, June 18
⏰ 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
📍 Gladstone Community Center, 1050 Portland Avenue

Participants will:
🔨 Build a take-home project together
🌱 Plant seeds to grow at home
🌭 Enjoy hot dogs, chips, and fellowship
👨‍👦 Celebrate with Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, or another special male role model

Thanks to Home Depot, building kits are provided free of charge, and aprons and seeds are included. Just bring a hammer and a smile!

Space is limited, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot.

Join us on Tuesday, June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Gladstone Community Center, 1050 Portland Avenue, for an informative presentation from Portland General Electric about its Smart Thermostat Program.

Learn how you may qualify for a low-cost or even no-cost smart thermostat and discover how these devices can help improve comfort in your home, increase energy efficiency, and potentially reduce your energy bills. PGE representatives will explain the program, discuss eligibility requirements, and be available to answer questions.

Participants are welcome to attend whether or not they choose to purchase lunch. Come learn about valuable energy-saving opportunities available to PGE customers and find out if the Smart Thermostat Program is right for you.

Join us for a special community tradition!

The VIP Rose Planting Ceremony, hosted by the Royal Rosarians, is a treasured Portland-area civic tradition celebrating community leadership and the rich heritage of the City of Roses. This ceremonial event honors distinguished local leaders and is known for its pageantry, including the Royal Rosarians' iconic white suits, capes, and straw hats.

This year, the ceremony will take place at the Gladstone Community Center on Saturday, June 13, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m.

Light refreshments will be served, and community members are invited to attend and be part of this unique celebration.

Don’t miss Music on the Greens this Friday, June 12th at Max Patterson Memorial Park!

Join us for a fun summer evening featuring live music by Beth Willis and delicious food from Smokin’ John’s BBQ food truck.
