Awesome Alert:
When we run calls and take people to the hospital, we typically don’t hear how the patient did after our care. Today, was not one of those days.
On August 27th, we responded to a motorcycle vs car. When we arrived, we found this young man trapped under a car with immediate life threatening injuries. Crews quickly freed him by lifting the car with the jaws of life and pulling him to safety. Crews had him out from under the car and on the way to a local trauma hospital within minutes of arrival.
Today, Tucker Sturgill was discharged from the hospital and immediately came by to meet the crews that helped him. We are so thankful for him coming by to speak with the crews. This is what it’s all about. Great Job A Shift and here’s to a speedy recovery Tucker!!
