✨ EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT: RODNEY! ✨

Rodney Born joined the Next Gen team in 2024 and was excited to hit the road from day one! As our Recreation Design Specialist in Kansas, Rodney spends his time traveling the state and meeting with communities to discuss their vision for expanding and updating their parks and recreation spaces.

He never fails to get a laugh and make a genuine connection with the people he meets along the way. His personality and ability to make everyone feel comfortable are a huge part of what makes him such a great asset to the Next Gen team!

When playgrounds have shaded areas, teachers have more options for keeping students outside while giving them a place to cool down, take a break, and stay protected from the sun.

Recess plays an important role in students’ physical, mental, and social well-being, so creating outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed safely is so important.
