our monthly training for this month consisted of doing some drafting, hooking up to a dry hydrant, relay pumping and experimenting with different water pressures and nozzle ends trying to get the best flow from the trucks and our equipment. Ultimately learning our equipment and training everyone how to use it to it's full potential. Gladstone Public Safety Department

We are hearing that some people who should have received an invitation to our annual golf tournament (those people who played last year) have not seen them come through the mail yet. All invitations have been mailed, so if you are one of those people, please reach out to us through Messenger or contact a member of our fire department. Advance registration for those who played last year closes on July 1, at which time it opens up to the general public on a first come, first served basis. No exceptions will be made.

We look forward to seeing you all in August!

On 4/22/26 our department performed controlled burning on the 11 acre field north of the Krist gas station, as well as one smaller area behind Lakeview Assisted Living. This burning allowed us to remove a heavy fuel load (under our terms) and provided valuable hands-on training for our members.

As clearing sidewalks and driveways is currently a top priority for many, we encourage you to dedicate some time to clearing the area surrounding the fire hydrant near your home when possible. This brief task could have a critical impact in the event of an emergency. We are grateful for the community's support in completing this task and recognize the collective efforts that make our neighborhood a great place to live.
