The Girardville Fire Department is currently on scene of a vehicle fire in the 200 block of West Oak Street in the Borough. Both borough companies operating.

Engine 45-10 secured a water supply and fed Engine 45-11. Crews stretched a single attack line for suppression and overhaul. Chief 45 in command.

On June 19th, Chief 45, Engine 45-10, and Squad 45 responded to a reported vehicle accident on East Main Street in the Borough. Crews arrived to find it was a false report from a “iPhone crash detection”. Units were quickly placed available. 6 Rangers Hose volunteers responded.

On June 22nd, Chief 45 and Squad 45 responded to Beech Street to assist EMS with a medical emergency. Crews remained on scene for roughly a half hour and were released following the patient being loaded into an ambulance.

These runs mark the 14th and 15th run the volunteers have responded to in the month of June!

Chances purchased outside of PA or with a credit card will be refunded by RHC at our earliest convenience. Numbers will be assigned based on the order chances were purchased through Square. Physical tickets will be held on file at our Station. Winning numbers will be selected using numbered chips. Prizes must be picked up within two (2) weeks of first prize pick-up date. Chief 45 and Squad 45 with a total of 5 personnel responded to Butler Township this morning to assist EMS. Fire personnel assisted with lifting the patient and getting them to an awaiting ambulance.

This is the 11th call for the Rangers Hose Company in the last 17 days!

Chief 45 and Engine 45-10 w/5 just cleared a possible house fire with entrapment in Ashland Borough. The original update from Schuylkill 911 Communications was multiple people on the roof, smoke in the residence.

As units arrived, it was determined there was no fire and the cause of the ”smoke” was “bug bombs” being used. Two residents were assisted off the porch roof with a ground ladder and units were placed in service after ventilation was completed.

Units just cleared a smoke investigation in the west end of the Borough.
