The City has an interest in engaging, informing, and cultivating its stakeholder audience using traditional as well as new media. Everything we do on social media ties back to our brand and the membership we serve. We use social media for:

If you've noticed vehicles and crews from Shoemaker & Sons and Midwest Contractors around town, they are associated with the City's water distribution line improvement project.

As work begins, residents will see construction activity, equipment, and crews working in various locations throughout the community.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as these important improvements are completed. While construction can sometimes be an inconvenience, these upgrades will help improve the reliability and longevity of our water infrastructure for years to come.

Thank you for helping keep our work zones safe by slowing down and giving crews plenty of room to work.

Adult Swim tonight from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Must be 18+.
Some people come for the swimming. Some come for the peace and quiet. Some just want to exist near water without being splashed by two 9-year-olds practicing WWE moves in the shallow end. Whatever your reason, we'll see you tonight.

A big thank you to Outta Line Designs and Misty Morning Farms for their generous donation to the City of Girard Pool!
Because of their support, some lucky local kids will have the opportunity to enjoy free swimming at the pool this summer.

This is what makes a small town special. Businesses that invest back into their community help create opportunities, memories, and experiences for local families. It's not just about a day at the pool. It's about neighbors supporting neighbors and making Girard an even better place to call home.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like Outta Line Designs and Misty Morning Farms who continue to show what hometown pride looks like.

Thank you for helping make summer a little brighter for our kids💙
