🍼💙 Help Us Rally Around a Local Family 💛🍼

We’re putting together a little “community baby shower” for a local family who could really use some extra support right now.

To protect their privacy, we won’t be sharing personal details, but what we can say is that baby boy is due in about TWO WEEKS. On top of preparing for a brand-new baby, this family recently had to make a very unexpected move and secure housing quickly. Right now, they are essentially starting from scratch with baby supplies.

We would love to help take a little of that stress off their shoulders and remind them that they do not have to walk through this season alone. 💛

We are collecting things like:

🍼 Diapers and wipes
👶 Newborn and 0–3 month clothing ( however, you can never go wrong with the bigger sizes)
🧴 Baby bath and hygiene supplies
🛏️ Safe sleep/baby essentials
🍼 Bottles and feeding supplies
🤱 Postpartum care items for mom
🧼 Laundry detergent and household basics
🎁 Gift cards for groceries, gas, Walmart, etc.

New items are especially helpful for personal care, feeding, and safety-related items. Gently used baby clothing and other appropriate baby items may also be helpful.

If you would like to donate, we would be more than grateful and you can do so at 801 e. 4th street, suite 7. (Boardwalk Building) right above the new Hands of Health location!

There are moments when community really matters, and this is one of them. Even one package of diapers, one outfit, or one postpartum item can make a difference.

We are incredibly proud of this particular family and cannot wait to meet their new blessing! 💛

We have some exciting news to share, and this is just the beginning!

Over the next two weeks, we will be welcoming FIVE new providers to our team! Each brings a unique combination of professional experience, lived experience, and a genuine passion for supporting Wyoming families.

We believe some of the most meaningful support comes from people who not only understand the work professionally but also understand what it means to navigate life's challenges firsthand.

We're especially excited to announce that we are welcoming a dedicated Respite Provider!

We know caregivers pour so much of themselves into caring for their families. Having someone dependable who can step in and provide support can make all the difference. Respite isn't just about taking a break. It's about helping families recharge so they can keep showing up for the people they love.

And we're not stopping there!

While we're not quite ready to share all the details, these developments are focused on creating more opportunities, addressing gaps in services, and reaching people who may need support beyond our current programs.

Wyoming Unity Solutions has expanded our team and we are currently accepting referrals for upcoming High-Fidelity Wraparound openings.

If you're working with a family who needs additional coordination between home, school, behavioral health providers, community services or other systems, we would be happy to talk with you about whether Wraparound may be appropriate.

We also believe strongly in family choice.

A referral or conversation with us does not obligate a family to receive services through Wyoming Unity Solutions. Our job is to help families understand their options and make an informed choice.

Wyoming Unity Solutions is GROWING! 🌿

We are currently accepting new referrals and helping families get started with the eligibility and enrollment process.

High-Fidelity Wraparound may be helpful when a family is trying to navigate multiple needs at once, including behavioral health, school concerns, family stress, community services, DFS or juvenile justice involvement, or simply feeling like everyone involved with their child is working separately instead of together.

Our goal is simple: bring the right people together, listen to the family, identify what is actually needed, and build a plan that makes sense for that family.

Families can reach out directly. Referrals can also come from schools, therapists, medical providers, DFS, probation and other community supports.

Here's what she has to say:
Hi, my name is Whitney Peterson. Before I became a certified peer specialist and wraparound provider, life taught me many lessons showing that it simply does not come with an instruction manual. I chose this field because I know what it feels like to navigate overwhelming systems and I believe no family should have to do it alone. Everyone needs and deserves support, advocacy, and someone to help bridge the gap in the unknown. I bring my whole, authentic self to this work—including my patience, my sense of humor, and my deep belief that every family already possesses the strengths they need to thrive.

My approach is grounded in real-world empathy, loyalty, confidentiality, honesty, and offering hope when times may seem troubling. When we work together, you will not get a strict clinical checklist. Instead, you will get a dedicated partner who will listen without judgment, celebrate your small victories, and stand by your side during tough moments. I am passionate about creating a safe space where parents feel heard and youth know they are both heard and seen.

Outside of Work
When I am not collaborating with care teams, you can usually find me hanging out with my two sons, attending faith-based events, or adventuring outdoors. I have a deep love for hiking, camping, and finding new, fun, and exciting things to do. I believe that taking care of our own well-being allows us to show up fully for others, and I will bring that same balance into my work with your family.

We are excited to officially welcome Mariana Barajas to Wyoming Unity Solutions as an in-network Family Care Coordinator!

If you've spent any time in our community, chances are you've already crossed paths with Mariana. She wears many hats and serves youth and families in countless ways. Whether she's providing overnight support, working as a paraprofessional, advocating for youth, or simply showing up when someone needs encouragement, Mariana consistently leads with compassion, patience, and a genuine heart for helping others.

As a bilingual provider, Mariana helps bridge gaps for Spanish-speaking families and ensures that more youth and caregivers have access to services in a way that feels comfortable, understood, and supported.

We are proud to have her as part of Wyoming Unity Solutions and look forward to the impact she will continue to make in the lives of Wyoming families.
