PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing on the proposed budget for Campbell County for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2027 will be held in the Commissioner's Chambers, Campbell County Courthouse, 500 S. Gillette Ave., Gillette, Wyoming, on the 15th day of June, 2026 at 6:00 P.M., at which time members of the public may appear and offer written and/or oral comments regarding the proposed budget. A copy of the entire proposed budget is available for public inspection at the Office of the County Clerk during regular office hours. Attached is a summary of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget.

The situation has been resolved and N. Garner Lake Road has been re-opened to all traffic.

PREVIOUSLY:
UPDATED at 10:58 a.m.: there is no current threat to the public. The road closure remains in effect.

ORIGINAL POST:
A section of N. Garner Lake Road is closed north of Northern Drive due an ongoing law enforcement operation.

Traffic is asked to avoid N. Garner Lake Road between I-90 and Highway 59. To access north Highway 59, please detour via Highway 14/16.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Chairman of the Campbell County Board of Commissioners has called for a special meeting to be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM, Gillette College, TEC Flex, 3251 4-J Road, Gillette, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to attend the Gillette College Master Plan Draft, Community Open House. No action will be taken.

NOTICE: Emergency Exercise at Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport on Wednesday, June 10th 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
If you see a surge of emergency vehicles or smoke at the airport on Wednesday, June 10, don’t worry—it’s only a drill!

The Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport is conducting a Triennial Full-Scale Emergency Exercise.
This is a major training event held every three years to make sure our team and local first responders are ready to respond to incidents.
👀 What you’ll see: Fire trucks, ambulances, and sheriff's cars. You might even see some simulated smoke or "victims" being transported—it’s all part of the exercise!
✈️ Travelers: Don't panic! This will NOT affect your flights. The terminal will remain open and operating on its normal schedule.
We take safety seriously, and these drills help us stay prepared. Thanks for your support as we practice to keep our skies and community safe!
