The purpose of this page is to provide updates to the community members in and around South Creek Township(PA), in regards to the office of the Emergency Management Coordinator. The office of South Creek Township EMC is a division of the Bradford County Department of Public Safety. It administers the Local Emergency Management Program. Our mission encompasses the following: Be responsive to the needs of the residents of South Creek Township in emergency situations. Support our citizens and first responders through resource and incident response coordination, emergency planning and training. Ensure that we work with local Emergency organizations to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards using the five phases of Emergency Management. 🚨Special Weather Announcement🚨

As you are likely aware, our area is expected to see measurable snow accumulations overnight tonight and into tomorrow (Tuesday 12/2). Key takeaways from a NWS Binghamton briefing include the following:
• Snow accumulations of 3-4 inches especially in higher elevations.
• Heaviest, most intense snow fall will be Tuesday (12/2) between 6-8 a.m. through 1-2 p.m.
• Morning commute will likely be impacted.
•Thursday (12/4) an arctic cold front will move through the area bringing lower temperatures. High of 34° on Thursday (12/4) during the day and low of only 8° Thursday night.

Please take time to make necessary preparations for these 2 winter events. Avoid travel if possible. Avoid downed power lines. For any NON-life threatening emergencies (trees down, unplowed roads, ect.) please call the Bradford County 911 Center on their non-emergency number at 570-265-9101 or contact your local municipality directly. For Emergencies, please dial 911.

Attention all South Creek Township residents. Road closure notification. Tomorrow (Tuesday 7/8) Ridge road will be closed from the intersection of Doty Hill to the intersection of Burnham road for a pipe replacement. Burnham road and Dildine road will still be accessible by way of Monkey Run road to Gee road to that side of Ridge road. The closure is just for the day unless otherwise notified. Thank you.

🚨All residents, Route 14 has been re-opened at this time and normal traffic patterns can resume.

🛑 South Creek Fire and EMS along with several mutual aid companies are currently working an incident on Route 14 in the area of the Kilgore/Ketchum rd intersections. Route 14 will be shut down for an extended period of time, please seek alternate routes of travel. NO further information regarding this incident will be released by this office. We will inform you when Route 14 is opened back up, thank you.
