We will assemble at the St. Aloysius Cemetery on upper Church Street at 11 AM and from there, we will reassemble at the World War I monument on Main Street.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies - Sunday, May 24, 2026

Wheelwright - WWII Memorial, Barre Rd., 10:00 am

Hardwick - Assemble on the west side of Common and proceed to the Civil War Memorial on the Common, 10:45 am.
After services there, proceed to the Revolutionary War Cemetery adjacent to the old Town Hall; reassemble at the Hardwick Cemetery at 11:15 am across from the Highway barn on Petersham Rd.

Gilbertville - St. Aloysius Cemetery, Upper Church St., noon; WWI Memorial, Rte. 32, Main St., 12:30 pm.

Please note after Wheelwright, the times are approximate and may be from fifteen minutes earlier than stated.

Depending upon the actual weather on Sunday, May 24, start times after Wheelwright may be moved up as much as 30 minutes for a truncated observance. The Parade Marshall will make the decision at each location.

The Hardwick Board of Health will be holding a Public Hearing on April 22 at 6:50 pm at the Hardwick Elementary School. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Groundwater Protection Regulation for the Muddy Brook Valley Aquifer and Wellhead Protection Areas. A copy of the draft regulation is available at the Board of Health office during regular business hours and online at https://www.hardwick-ma.gov/media/8576. Written comments may be submitted to [email protected]
