Canigiani Christmas Light Show

Canigiani Christmas Light Show Canigiani Christmas Light Show, CLOSED Since 2007, we have added over 60,000 lights, both in LED and incandescent and we do not plan on stopping anytime soon!
(336)

The Canigiani Christmas Light Show is a FREE attraction to the Gilbertsville and surrounding areas, brought to by Adam and Jessica Canigiani.

8 years ago, we decided that turning a candle on in every window in the house was entirely too time consuming. We absolutely needed a way to automate the 40 second process to eliminate the time that it took to flip a few switches! :)
Our solution was a 1

6 channel Light-O-Rama controller. We figured that while we were at it, why not just put some music to the candles and blink them at different points in the music... Interesting... Well, while we were at it, why not just start adding that animation to the lights outside. For those of you who remember our very first Light Show, you may remember the windows blinking, and 3 scrawny tomato cages wrapped with about 200 lights each! Our inspiration comes from our son, Adam Jr. and his interest in the lights. We are both an organ transplant and an organ donor family. In March of 2010, Adam Jr. received a successful kidney transplant from Adam Sr. Since that time, there have been many bumps in the road, but Adam Jr. is doing extremely well! We purposely incorporate faith based aspects into our show to help us all remember why we celebrate Christmas. The Bethlehem Star and the Nativity set are our first reminders, and Linus tells us all about the meaning of Christmas during each show. A Word about Donations:

We humbly appreciate when folks offer us donations, however we respectfully deny donations of any form. We do not produce the Light Show in order to gather funding for ourselves or for anyone else. Our show is, and always will be 100% free to all. We at the Canigiani Christmas Light Show want you to enjoy our show without any pressure or obligation that you need to do anything at all during or after you leave our show. Our wish is that your family tradition includes a visit to us every year!

-=| CCLS CANCELLED FOR 2024 |=-

Dear Friends,
We are incredibly saddened to have to share the devastating news that we must cancel CCLS for the season. We are still in disbelief from having to make this decision, and please know it was not made lightly. Unfortunately, we suffered from some insurmountable technical and lighting issues with every critical component of the show, which has rendered the show unwatchable. We cannot in good faith, produce a show that is this unpredictable in reliability or quality. It is not up to our standards, nor is it fair to our fans. We are so sorry for disappointing you all. While CCLS will continue in some way, it is very unlikely that our current format will be returning. Some answers to questions that are likely to come up......

Will there be ANY lights?? Yes, it will just be some static lights only. NO SHOW, NO MUSIC, NO RADIO

How can we still enjoy the lights?? Just drive by, please no stopping.

Are you still doing the food drive? Yes, we will put the blue barrel out and check it frequently. Any donations are appreciated and will be taken to Boyertown Multiservice.

Again, so sorry for delivering this news, we here at CCLS are absolutely devastated. We wish you all the very best for a very Merry Christmas.

CCLS, Signing Off.

-=| CCLS Operation Eagle Drop Update |=-

Dear Friends,
Merry Christmas from CCLS! It's tough looking outside this time of year and not seeing our yard lit up, and no one out there to enjoy the show. But, we do have some great news to share that involves all of you, and we wanted to thank everyone for the part that they played in our son Adam Jr's success. It is now official, Adam has earned the rank of Eagle Scout! The overwhelming success of last year's toy drive was the capstone of Adam's journey through scouts. He couldn't have accomplished it without all of you! Looking forward to being back in the saddle for 2024!

Best,
CCLS

-=| CCLS UPDATE |=-
Dear Friends,
It has been quite awhile since our last post, and we have been meaning to update you all on several things. First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who donated to Operation Eagle Drop. OED was a HUGE success for Adam Jr. He was able to deliver over 1,000 toys to CHOP in late May. We are all so proud of the hard work, dedication and leadership that he showed while running the drive. The second part of our update is not so happy :( Unfortunately, CCLS will NOT be operating this year. We spent the first half of 2023 dealing with some unexpected health challenges and are still recovering from the ill-effects. We hope to return next season. From all of us here at CCLS, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

-=| CCLS END OF SEASON |=-

Dear Friends,
Words cannot express how thankful and appreciative we are of so many people. First, all of the volunteers who helped us with traffic, the scouts, friends and family who helped with O.E.D., New Hanover Township for their support, and the list goes on. So many great people make our show what it is, and we appreciate you all! Secondly, we'd like to thank all of our fans and all of you who donated food and a toy, through Operation Eagle Drop šŸ¦…. We would also like to recognize our son Adam Jr., who just a year ago was on dialysis and waiting for a kidney. His leadership during his eagle scout project was absolutely inspirational. It was an honor and a privilege to watch him lead his volunteers and lead this project to the overwhelming success that it turned into. By the numbers we had a phenomenal year, as shown in the photo. We had originally planned on taking a much needed break in 2023, but the CCLS board met this morning and confirmed, there WILL be a show this year ā˜ŗļø. So stay tuned!

Happy New Year, from CCLS!

-=| Operation Eagle Drop šŸ¦… Newsflash |=-

Dear Friends,
Thank you to all who donated to Adam's Eagle project this far. We did a preliminary count last night and estimate that over 1,000 toys have been donated so far! If you have donated, make sure that future Amazon purchases are re-routed back to you. We have had a couple of orders come to us and unfortunately we have no way of knowing who to send the items back to! One of our generous donors did reach out to us and we were able to get their package back to them. We do have a few more here, so if you are missing an Amazon delivery, let us know and if we can match it up, we want to make sure it gets back to you! 😁

Best,
CCLS
