New Hanover Township is excited to support this local organization and the great work they’re doing to grow the game of hockey and create opportunities for women and girls in our community.

Their 3rd Annual Women’s & Girls’ Ball Hockey Tournament is coming to The Rink at Community Park on Sunday, October 4!

We encourage our community to check out the event, get involved, and support PUSH Hockey as they continue to make a difference right here in New Hanover Township.

🌞 The 2026 pool season has come to an end! 😢

A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated lifeguards who helped make this season both fun and safe for everyone. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We’d also like to thank our New Hanover Township Public Works Department for their hard work cleaning and maintaining the pool. We are so grateful for all you do to keep the pool ready for our community!

And, of course, thank you to everyone who supported Hickory Park Pool this summer by visiting, bringing friends, and making the pool a part of your summer memories. 💦☀️

We hope your summer was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of great memories! ❤️

We'll see everyone back at the pool next May!

Unfortunately, due to lifeguard staffing, Hickory Park Pool will be closed today, Tuesday, September 1.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
