Preston Pollnow, a 5th grader at Riggs, won the MLB Pitch, Hit, and Run 9/10-year old national championship on Sunday, October 25 in Milwaukee, WI. After tying one of his opponents for first place after the main sessions, Preston won the championship in a pitch off. In addition to the PHR event, Preston was able to travel to Wisconsin and watch Game 2 of the World Series. This experience included being on the field for pregame introductions. Congratulations Preston!
