The Peninsula School District has established its presence on social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and others as a method of increasing communication with parents, the community and the general public. The Peninsula School District has

an “Electronic Resources” policy and procedure that defines acceptable and unacceptable use of the district’s electronic, computer and network resources. Procedure 2022P states that “Online communication is critical to our students’ learning of 21st Century Skills and Internet Tools such as blogs, wikis, social networks, podcasts, email, new media or other Internet tools offer an authentic, real-world vehicle for student expression.”

The regulation also states that the: “District holds those using these web tools to the same acceptable use, terms of agreement, standards and expectations and must follow all established Internet Safety guidelines.” Also, “the District reserves the right to monitor appropriate behavior and adherence to instructional guidelines. Anything deemed to be inappropriate will be subject to deletion.”

State law also has specific guidelines regarding elections. RCW42.17.130 prohibits the District from using its facilities, either directly or indirectly, for the purpose of assisting a campaign for election of any person to any office or the promotion of or opposition to any ballot proposition.

Seahawk 101 is Peninsula High School's New Student Orientation Day! It is an informative and fun-filled day designed for incoming Freshman and any other transfer students. Students will learn about student life, academics, get a tour of the school, get their class schedules, student ID cards and much more. We can't wait to have you join us to get to know your school and fellow students before the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept 7.

'PSD Summer Scholars' provides learning opportunities for students to engage in academic and social-emotional programs to connect with peers and fill needed learning gaps.

Students and families with students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2021 are invited to participate in a virtual information night about Peninsula School District’s new Navy JROTC/NNDCC Program!

Located at Peninsula High School, the program starts in fall 2021 to serve students from across the district (PHS, GHHS, HBHS) and will be supported through Career and Technical Education.

There are two options to sign up for Zoom sessions on either March 30 or March 31 from 6-7 pm.
