Our Youth Lifesaver class was a huge success. These kids put in the work to understand what to do if a true CPR emergency arises. We had a really fun morning. Thank you to everyone who came. All the proceeds will go to the Billy Don Greenwood Scholarship Fund supporting local graduates. ♥️  A special thank you to the Nitsche Group for sponsoring five kids. ♥️

I am re-sharing our post for the Lee County EMS Youth Lifesavers Class because I received an awesome offer from the Nitsche Group Insurance Agency in Giddings. They would like to sponsor the next 5 youth that sign up for the class. They love encouraging youth to participate in local programs that help others. A big thank you goes out for their kindness in helping out the youth of today learn more that could help save a life.

🚑 ♥️ CPR/AED ♥️🚑
Be prepared to save a life!

Join us for an American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification Class designed for ages 9–17. This hands-on, interactive class makes learning lifesaving skills engaging, fun, and easy to understand while preparing participants to confidently manage a cardiac emergency.

📅 Date: August 29�📍 Location: Lee County EMS Station, Giddings, Texas
�👧👦 Ages: 9–17 years�💲 Cost: $50 per participant

9am-noon enough time to make sure they have all the tools they need to be successful.

Your registration includes:�✅ American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification (valid for 2 years)�✅ Hands-on instruction with experienced EMS professionals�✅ Official course completion card�✅ Class T-shirt
Parents are welcome to attend the class and learn alongside their child.

Whether it's helping a family member, friend, teammate, or even a stranger, these are skills that could make all the difference when every second counts.

We would like to thank Vanessa with Airlife, and Joe with Henry Schein for the Greek cookies they brought for our crews, along with One and Only for the chicken spaghetti, and also Clint Dube for the great big watermelons for everyone. A tragic accident has impacted three Dime Box graduates. Two young men—brothers from the Classes of 2018 and 2026—tragically lost their lives. A third graduate, who was a member of this year's basketball and track teams, has undergone multiple major surgeries and remains in critical condition.

This is an unimaginable loss for a small, close-knit community. Please lift up the families, friends, classmates, teammates, coaches, teachers, first responders, and everyone hurting in Dime Box during this incredibly difficult time.

The Texas coaching community has always rallied around those in need. Let's do that again today.
