The members and families of the Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Kirsopp family following the passing of our friend and fellow first-responder, Sgt. Robert Kirsopp.

Many of our members knew Rob personally and not just when Fire and Police came together as the result of a dispatched event. Rob was a larger-than-life personality, the consummate professional who always stepped up to provide strong leadership but who was also ready with an appropriately timed quip, a great smile and laugh.

At a recent training session, Rob instructed our department’s volunteers about Fire and Police communication and support tactics at complex incidents. His insight, knowledge and caring approach will be a lasting legacy among all first responders in Hampton.

We will forever remember his unwavering dedication to service and his vibrant spirit that have left an indelible mark on our hearts and the community of Hampton.

Last night at the Hampton Township Council Meeting, Al Hahn was recognized for his 60 active years with North Hampton Volunteer Fire Department. Our Township presented Firefighter Hahn with a proclamation declaring August 23, 2023 to be Albert L. Hahn Day! Thank you Al for everything that you do for the department and community.

On behalf of the North Hampton Volunteer Fire Department, we would like to congratulate Fire Fighter Albert Hahn on his many years of service. FF Hahn is celebrating 60 years as an active member of NHVFD. Throughout his time at NHVFD, he served as a Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Chief, Financial Secretary, and Treasurer. Members honored this milestone by presenting FF Hahn with a ceremonial axe to show our appreciation for his years of service. Thank you for everything that you have done for this department and community.

On July 18th Dep. Chief Boyle, FF Barton and FF Zoroya attended the Hampton Township Community Center Day Camp to educate the campers about Fire Prevention. Our members discussed the gear that we wear, the different apparatuses in the township, capabilities of our equipment and what measures they can take at home to ensure the highest level of safety.
