The Epiphany is a special day in our Church when we remember the visit of the Wise Men, also called the Magi, who traveled a great distance to meet the newborn Jesus. Guided by a bright star, they came to honor Him and brought three meaningful gifts.

*Gold was given to show that Jesus is a King. It was a gift fit for royalty and reminds us that Jesus is our King, too.

*Frankincense was used during prayer and worship, showing that Jesus is the Son of God and that we are called to pray and stay close to Him.

*Myrrh was used as medicine and for healing. While it may seem like an unusual gift for a baby, it reminds us that Jesus would one day suffer for us and bring healing and hope to the world.

The Epiphany teaches us that Jesus came for everyone, and the Wise Men remind us to seek Him, honor Him, and share His light with others. 🌟

"The concept of a Catholic school arose at a time when it was understood that the school was meant to support the work of teaching and mentoring children into life in the Church already being done in the home and in the parish. Families sought to raise their children within the Church and prioritized their faith, including prayer, worship, participation in the parish, and attention to Catholic values and morality."

🏫 On the eve of the for the 2025-26, we wanted to share our superintendent of schools, Dr. Bill Watson's, editorial from the edition of the Catholic Star Herald!
