GIBBSBORO SUPERFUND AND ROADWAY ACTIVITY
WEEK OF JUNE 1
Monday June 1 thru Wednesday June 3 – County Permit # 26-03289
Lakeview Drive North/Haddonfield-Berlin Road – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Valiant, on behalf of Atlantic City Electric, will continue replacing aerial wire, there will be a lane shift between Centennial Boulevard in Gibbsboro (Lakeview Drive North) & Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees (Haddonfield-Berlin Road).
Monday June 1 thru Friday June 5 - County Permit 24-11905
United States Avenue & Foster Avenue – 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. South State, on behalf of Gibbsboro Borough, will continue repairing sanitary sewer manholes, there will be a full road closure of United States Avenue between Lakeview Drive South & Berlin Road and a full road closure of Foster Avenue between United States Avenue & Clementon Road.
SCHEDULED SUPERFUND ACTIVITY:
· Sherwin-Williams will be performing spring vegetation monitoring on the remediated portion of the Wildlife Refuge on Monday (6/1) or Tuesday (6/2).
· Sherwin-Williams will be performing spring vegetation monitoring on the Borough-owned “stack” parcel later this week or early the week of June 8th.
· Repairs and restoration to the section of boardwalk at the base of Silver Lake that was disturbed during remediation will continue over the next several weeks. The boardwalk will remain closed to the public until repairs are complete.
· Excavation activities will continue on the 7 Foster Avenue property. Trucks will be transporting excavated soils down Foster Avenue to the soil management pad on 2 Foster Avenue.
· Restoration is substantially complete on the U.S. Avenue South unit. During watering of the new grass, a hose will temporarily run across the bike path on U.S. Avenue. Signs will be posted to alert bikers and pedestrians.
· Sherwin-Williams will be monitoring the interim Soil V***r Extraction (SVE) system installed on 1 Foster Avenue. This system will operate continually for up to six months.
· The Sherwin-Williams team is continuing with the final steps in the sewer expansion project. This will require intermittent lane and road closures on U.S. Avenue between Berlin Road and Egg Harbor Road. Detour signs will be posted when road closures are in effect.
The project schedule may vary depending on weather conditions.
