VGVFC is having a company do annual pump testing on all of our Pumpers this morning 7/16/2025. Prepare for water line pressure fluctuations. We will try to mitigate as much as possible.

For those who frequently see turbid water "muddy looking", we are sorry!!

Today, members of the Vacherie-Gheens Volunteer Fire Company, had a hamburger-steak lunch fundraiser.

Netting $1451.94, after expenses and both in-kind and monetary donation, we were just short of our $1500 goal, but are still very pleased with the support.

Due to the Gumbo (radio), we had a firefighter from Virginia stop by, probably our furthest plate lunch sold.

We would like to thank the community(s) for their support and continued help.
