"This dynamic training, has been one of most challenging, and fun classes I have taken. This class is hardly ever offered locally, I'm grateful to W**e Country to the Rescue and our community for making this possible."

We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting details for this year’s W**e Country to the Rescue, our 50+ year tradition of great food, incredible local w**es, live music, dancing, and raising serious funds for the brave firefighters of the Northern Sonoma County .

And we have some big news to share today…

This year, we’re taking the party to a whole new level — literally.

After months of secret planning (and a few very high-level conversations with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), we’re thrilled to announce that the 2026 event will be held on top of Warm Springs Dam at Lake Sonoma!

That’s right — imagine sipping Dry Creek Valley w**es while standing 300+ feet above the valley floor, with sweeping panoramic views of the lake stretching out before you. Sunset over the water, a gentle breeze, gourmet BBQ wafting through the air, and yes… we’re working on making sure the dancing doesn’t cause any seismic activity.

-Here’s what you can expect at our new “Dam Good” location:

-Epic views - The best sunset in Sonoma County, guaranteed (or your w**e is free*)

-Gourmet BBQ dinner with local w**es flowing freely

-Live music & dancing - Because what’s a fundraiser without a little two-step on top of a major piece of infrastructure?

-Silent & live auctions packed with once-in-a-lifetime experiences

-Fireworks over the lake (pending approval from… well… everyone with a badge)

We’re calling it “W**e Country to the Rescue: Dam High Edition” — because when you support our local firefighters, we like to aim high.

Tickets will go on sale soon. Space is extremely limited (the dam isn’t that wide and we know some of you might a be security risk), so be ready to move fast. Must be 21+ to attend.

Cheers & Stay Safe, The W**e Country to the Rescue Team

P.S. If anyone from the Army Corps of Engineers is reading this… we were totally kidding. Mostly. Call us...
